There are few cities in the world with a more rich and diverse musical culture than London, and this is certainly reflected in the quality and variety of fiddling talent found here. The London Fiddle Convention has been running now for 20 years, showcasing a huge range of fiddle styles

The 20th annual London Fiddle Convention will be held in 2012 at Cecil Sharp House, one of London's premier folk venues; on

Sunday Feb 19th, 2012

It's the most important date in every London fiddler's calender; a chance to meet friends, learn new tunes, see some amazing playing, buy some fiddle stuff. People come from all over the South East to be there- you'll rarely meet so many fiddlers in one place!

As usual there will be a series of afternoon workshops, a fiddle contest, session in the bar, and an evening concert featuring a wide range of performers.

And YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A FIDDLE PLAYER! The concert is open to everyone and you're guaranteed a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and a great set of performances.
